This service is recommended as a preventative maintenance service but is also recommended if you have valve train noise, poor fuel efficiany, loss of power, slow response or excessive smoking. The BG products used will remove oil sludge and varnish and restore compression. The chemicals used are harmless to oil pumps, seals and gaskets. What you may notice after the cleaning is that there is lower tailpipe emmisions, reduced oil consumption and also improved overall power and engine efficiency.

If your diesel vehicle is expirencing poor fuel efficiency, loss of power, slow response or excessive smoke you may be due for a performance oil change.This service removes deposits from valves and combustion chambers, dissolves sludge and varnish, cleans stubborn oil deposits and  restores engine balance and power. This is done using 3 BG chemicals, DOC, EPR and Premium 245. DOC (Diesel Oil Conditioner) neutralizes acids and acid corrosion, reduces friction and wear on engine parts, stabilizes viscosity and prevents slude through increased oxidation control and soot scatter technology.

Modern engines run at increasingly higher temperatures. This, combined with the increasing regularity of stop-and-go driving, cause rapid depletion of critical oil additives. Without these protective additives, severe engine oil oxidation occurs. Oxidation reduces oil to heavy, black sludge in the crankcase, oil screens, oil passages, rocker arms and other critical areas of the engine. The performance oil change includes BG MOA and EPR. BG MOA fortifies all qualities of engine oil, providing superior, long-lasting engine protection and maintain peak engine performance.

Over time air and fuel deposits can build up inside the engine making it harder for your engine to perform it's best and also reducing your fuel efficiency. This service will clear out the carbon deposits and other buildup that forms inside your engine's parts. If you notice any of the following symptoms it may be time for this cleaning service, slower pickup when pressing on the gas pedel, shaking or vibration when your vehicle is idling, decreased fuel efficiency or running rough. As part of your vehicles preventative maintenance BG suggests this service be done every 15,000 miles.

The most complex part of the diesel engine is the injector. The injector has to be able to handle the heat and pressure within a cylinder while still being able to distribute the fuel in a fine mist. Symtoms you may notice when the injectors need cleaned include poor fuel economy, power loss, rough idle, increased smoke and slowed throttle response. The BG Diesel Injection Service will remove deposits from the fuel injectors, clean soot-black deposits from the fuel filter, prevent component corrosion and cleans stuborm oil deposits.

Most newer gasoline vehicle are direct injection, which means the injectors spray gasoline into the air intake manifold where fuel and air mix together into a fine mist. Compared to other engines where the gasoline hangs out in the air intake manifold these engines have the fuel squirt directly into the combustion chamber. Our BG GDI Service cleans the fuel injectors, throttle body, plenum, air intake, intake valves and ports. It also removes combustion chamber deposits and corrects balance of fuel and air in the system.

If your intake system is dirty you may notice that your vehicle is running rough, hesitating or even stalling. This is caused by carbon build up limiting the required amount of air flow and fuel needed to fully ignite the cylinder. When the EGR system is dirty you may notice such symptoms as reduction in power and acceleration, a rough idle and decreased fuel efficiency. We highly recommend cleaning the system every 40,000 miles as preventative maintenace instead of waiting until the vehicle is experiencing problems.

Most diesel vehicles 2007 or newer have a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).  If you drive a vehicle with a DPF, you're probably aware it requires a DPF regeneration process to keep the DPF clean, and it either passively or actively runs one every so often.  However, did you know a Diesel Particulate Filter can get clogged even if you run the regeneration as needed?  Many factors can contribute to this, and the most common sign that your DPF is clogged, is the DPF regeneration process running frequently.
